The Hollywood Reporter, per la quarta volta, ha stilato la lista di quelli che ritiene siano i 50 showrunner più potenti e di valore della televisione contemporanea (americana), leader creativi che aiutano a scrivere, produrre e ridefinire la televisione. Il metodo usato per sceglierli ha tenuto conto della loro diretta responsabilità nel constante output creativo, di quanto sono prolifici, degli ascolti, della critica e degli Emmy, della loro professionalità e reputazione. Per ciascuno ha steso anche un profilo, e per quello vi rimando al sito che li divide in autori drammatici e autori comici.
